Makloon/Original Equipment Manufacturing comes from the Dutch language ‘Makloon’ that means ‘product manufacturing’ service which is the product specifications requested from the customer.
OEM requires service-producing processes for each product manufactured by a service provider (by contract) while the specification, ingredients/ raw materials, semi-finished goods, and other specified materials will proceed partially or wholly and are provided by customers or clients, or product owners.
 
OEM transactions happen between two parties, product owner/clients/customers and service providers (sub-contractor)
